Akron Ohio
They founded a community that they named Akron, from a Greek word meaning "high place." The first section of the canal was opened in 1827, linking Akron with Cleveland. Akron was chartered as a village in 1836, became the county seat in 1842, and was chartered as a city in 1865.

Happy Birthday to Priscilla, what a great mother and friend!
Today we went to Princeton NJ to do some shopping and lunch with friends. Then tonight we will be doing the Doylestown Escape Room with four other friends. Cannot wait to experience this.

Christmas 2017 Prep
Christmas 2017
The 1st tree in the living room is decorated with LLadro Christmas Bells and Balls one for each year starting in 1997. It is additionally adorned with Swarovski and Tiffany Crystal holiday annual ornaments as well as vintage red balls.
The 2nd tree represents our world travels with ornaments from and that represent the different trips they have taken over the last 10 plus years.
The 3rd tree is a silver tree that is adorned with vintage ornaments from Michaels family as well as hand made paper Victorian inspired ornaments made by us. The silver tree brings back memories of Grandma Flanagan’s silver holiday tree.
The outside fountain is flanked with two solders made by Michaels parents.
Th Nativity located in the living room is a homemade Crèche that is over 55 years old and made by Michaels father. It was their family Creche that he inherited. The figurines are German made and collected during our trip to Germany and resemble those his family had in years past.
The mantel decorations brings the outdoors in with the boxwood wreath and topiaries, a favorite of ours.

New addition to the family
He is a standard Goldendoodle. He was 8 weeks old and 13.5 pounds when we bought him home. Just 3 short weeks and he is now 21 pounds.

Wedding Date Set
We set a date of March 2, 2017 to get married. This is 10 years to the day (March 2, 2007) we bought rings as a sign of commitment.
