350 steps
There are many, many steps to climb, and no elevator nor escalators. At the top of the shopping street (called "la Grande Rue"), there are 350 steps to go straight up to the church. TIP: If you have problems climbing stairs, Mont St. Michel is NOT the place for you.
But if you do the views and the Abby is spectacular
